On Friday 11th January 2013, the talented musical trio Anam Caras will present an evening of folk-flavoured worship and meditational songs to help launch CAFOD’s Hungry for Change campaign in Wolverhampton.
The songs will be interspersed with stories, reflections and a bit of humour.
Anam Caras are a trio of singers and musicans who write their own songs based around Celtic spirituality. They will be singing songs from their three CDs, which have been described as ‘a weapon in the arsenal of anyone seeking a deeper experience of the Creator through the gift of music’.
Admission is free, but donations to CAFOD are very welcome.
There will also be an opportunity to find out more about Hungry for Change.
The concert will be held at St. Anthony of Padua, Bee Lane, Wolverhampton WV10 6LE and will start at 7.30pm.
