St Chad’s Catholic Primary, Birmingham: CAFOD World Gifts Assembly

The students of St Chad’s Catholic Primary School recently held an assembly dedicated to CAFOD World Gifts.  CAFOD World Gifts are a great way to support the causes of CAFOD: you can buy gifts ranging from a ‘fabulous football’ to ‘chirpy chickens’ or a ‘community water supply’.  The funds contributed for these gifts really helps to support the five main areas of CAFOD’s work: Education and Skills Training, Livestock, Agriculture and livelihoods, Water and Food, Health and Care, and Emergency, Conflict and Rehabilitation.

At St Chad’s, the School Council help to raise funds with their Traidcraft Tuck Shop.  These photos illustrate the assembly that they held to mark their contribution and to learn more about CAFOD World Gifts.  If you would like to learn more about how World Gifts work, read some more information here.
