Summer Campaigns Day- blogYou are warmly invited to our CAFOD Campaigns Day

Stories of Peru travel the Diocese

alice reading.pngCAFOD’s Step into the Gap programme allows volunteers to take a year out to devote themselves to volunteering and learning more about CAFOD and its work. This year, the Birmingham Diocese have welcomed Alice Bowers, who is currently working at Newman University Chaplaincy.

Earlier this year, she visited Peru to meet some of CAFOD’s partners and see the work that is being done in Peru. Following her experiences, she is now preparing to give a series of talks across the diocese. We would like to welcome everyone to attend these talks and hear some fascinating ‘Stories from Peru’.
